Sleep apnea is a sleeping disorder that can become very serious, even life threatening. This is because the muscles in the throat are too relaxed, and the person will suddenly wake up to start breathing again.

There are also dental devices that can treat the sleep disorder in mind/ moderate cases. They can make sure the airways are kept open.
Some surgical treatments are also used to treat the sleep apnea symptoms. Finding the right treatment can really improve health and quality of life for sufferers.
